Something In The Water
I have a fear of mold. I’ve experienced this phenomenon in my life many times. Some people call it the “smelly mold” or “unpleasant” but I prefer the word “fear”. I’ve done everything I can to avoid it. I’ve had my house tested many times and it all comes back “clean” but I don’t know…I have this nagging fear.
Growing up, my parents lived in a third world country and then moved to the United States. When we went for holidays, we would head to the bathroom and look in the medicine cabinet where some of my earliest fears came from. There were also a lot of them and they go way back as I didn’t realize at the time that I had “fear” of them and they seemed like everyday occurrences.
I am now 15 years older and I have a mold “fear”. I know I am not the only one with this phobia but
