AutoCAD is available on various platforms including macOS, Windows, and Linux. Versions are available as retail

Example

A simple example of customizing AutoCAD can be found in the classic «snowflake» example. It uses a line from the «Arc» tool to make a snowflake.

AutoCADSpontaneous closure of a giant left ventricular pseudoaneurysm after blunt chest trauma.
Cardiac pseudoaneurysms are infrequent. We report a case of a 23-year-old man with a huge ventricular pseudoaneurysm following a blunt chest trauma. The patient underwent a 2-stage resection of the pseudoaneurysm and reconstruction of the left ventricular posterior wall. The pseudoaneurysm was repaired with an autologous pericardial patch. Postoperative angiogram and echocardiography showed complete closure of the pseudoaneurysm.I’m Not Down With “Abandoned Objects”

In my town (you can’t quite call it suburbia), there is a lot of metal working. Most of the metal working is done by people who are either misfits, or just naturally love what they are doing.

My husband was out of town, and I was talking to one of the metal guys at the shop. He started complaining about how difficult it is to find pieces for some of the projects he is working on. In his view, he is having a hard time finding a certain kind of metal, and so he doesn’t want to buy it, he wants it dropped off at the shop for him. But it’s not just him.

It seems that most of these guys have a particular junk they want, or will just start knocking on someone’s door in hopes of getting a free “abandoned objects” deal. In the past, when we have visited here for the holidays, there were often men who hung up Christmas lights for the holidays. This year, they weren

Q:

More general trichotomy of the inclusion relation in a topological vector space

The famous trichotomy of the inclusion relation in a topological vector space says that for each pair of subspaces $F$ and $G$, the inclusion relation $\subseteq$ can be expressed as one of the following inclusions:

$F\subseteq G$
$G\subseteq F$
$F\supseteq G$

I want to find an analogous trichotomy for $F\subseteq F’\subseteq G$ and $F’\subseteq F\subseteq G$.
I can express them as follows:

$F\subseteq F’\subseteq G$
$F’\subseteq F\subseteq G$
$F\supseteq F’\subseteq G$

But I can’t see how to show that any three inclusions from the first and the second types can always be expressed in the same form.

A:

Let $V$ be a TVS and $F, G \leq V$. If $F$ is included in $G$ and $F’$ in $F$, then $F’$ is included in $G$.

Merge Styles from other files into a style in AutoCAD. (video: 1:33 min.)

Duplicate sections, place them at different locations, and share them. AutoCAD automatically adds your new section to all the templates you open. (video: 1:19 min.)

Faster start:

Set the time you start AutoCAD to zero. If your computer starts AutoCAD when you turn it on, the time will automatically be set to zero.

Show and hide toolbars, palettes, and tabs:

Group and hide the panels that you don’t use often. You can also hide the task bar, which can be used to monitor open drawings and windows.

Split panes for easier viewing:

Move panels of the drawing to different locations. Panels can be set to display two panes in the main drawing window or in their own window.

Drag and drop from Explorer:

Drag and drop files from Explorer to AutoCAD.

Richer drawing commands:

With better auto complete, rich text editor, and command history, commands are more intuitive and easy to use.

Run commands in a custom workspace:

Automatically runs a command in a specific area of the drawing window.

Improvement to the workspace:

See improvements to the existing workspace commands, including viewing tips. The workspace in AutoCAD now includes the entire drawing area, and includes a number of “spot tools” that let you jump quickly to an area of the drawing. The tools are divided into four categories: point tools, line tools, “spot,” and “toolbox.”

Find commands in the Commands pane:

Organize the “find” commands by recently used commands, or by frequently used commands.

Drop tools into a document:

Drag and drop tools from any folder to a document.

Accelerate running and zooming:

Get better performance with the ability to do multiple things at once in addition to zooming and scrolling the drawing window.

New icons make it easier to select commands. You can organize the menus into several tabs, which can be customized.
